Generally, daily merge is known as ‘son’, weekly merge is known as ‘father’ and monthly merge is known as ‘grandfather’
It enables the user to limit the bandwidth used by the backup process during data transfer. If you don’t want to spend your entire bandwidth on backups, use this feature to control or limit the bandwidth.
If you don’t want to run incrementals during non working hours and weekends, you can enable this feature and specify the time frame.
