Cause

This error message would occur, when Vembu client agents are not able to receive the authorization ack from the backup server with in the specified time 120 Seconds. Normally Vembu client agent will wait for 120 Sec to receive the authorization ack from backup server to handshake the backup process. But in some case, the client are not able to receive those ack's in stipulated time.

Solution

To resolve this issue increase authorization ack wait time for the problematic clients by following below steps.

  1. Stop Vembu service in client machine
  2. Open '<vembu_home>\conf\SGConfiguration.conf' file
  3. Change the "BackupAck="120" and Authorization="120" tag attribute value to "BackupAck="600" and Authorization="600"
  4. Save the SGConfiguration.conf file
  5. Start Vembu service in client machine
