Cause

1) Vembu BDR360 On-premises Server is not installed in the target machine or its service is not running in the target machine.

2) Vembu BDR360 On-premises Server running on a different port number for the selected protocol.

3) Verify whether Vembu BDR360 Agent is running in the server (Vembu BDR Backup Server or Vembu Offsite DR Server).

Solutions

For cause 1: Install Vembu BDR360 On-premises Server in the target machine or start the service of Vembu BDR360 On-premises Server from services.msc on Windows.

For cause 2: Provide an appropriate port number for the selected protocol and make sure that the port number entered is not used by any other service or application.

For cause 3: Start the service of Vembu BDR360 Agent from services.msc in the server (Vembu Backup Server or Vembu Offsite DR Server) running on Windows. If the server is running on Linux, run the following command “service vembubdr360agent start” in the terminal.
