Cause
a) Due to an issue with the internet connectivity
b) Issue with the proxy server or its credentials
Solution:
a) Please make sure the BDR Backup Server/ Offsite DR Server has proper internet connectivity.
b) Registration failure with Vembu Portal in BDR & ODR servers due to Proxy settings
For BDR and ODR servers running version 5.0, Refer below:

From version 4.0, BDR and ODR servers have a dedicated page to access Proxy Settings.
Users can access the page by navigating to the following link post login to server:
< machinename(or)machineIP>:6060/v/#/proxyUpdate
The user should Edit the existing details such as Proxy Name, Proxy Port, Proxy Username, and Proxy Password
- Once done providing the accurate details, proceed to Update it
- Now try registering the Vembu BDR Backup Server / Vembu Offsite DR Server with the Vembu Portal.
Note: If the BDR/ ODR server has direct access to the internet, then you can remove the "HTTP Proxy Server Settings"
If you are running an older version of the BDR / ODR Server such as BDR v3.9.1 and older, then upgrade the concerning server to the latest version and follow the above-mentioned steps.
