Using Hyper-V Manager

  1. Open Hyper-V Manager and select the VM under which you wish to delete checkpoint.
  2. Once VM is selected, checkpoints created under the specific VM will be listed in Checkpoints section.
  3. To delete a specific checkpoint, right click over the checkpoint you wish to delete and choose Delete Checkpoint.
  4. To delete a set of sequential checkpoints, right click over the earliest checkpoint in the list and choose Delete Checkpoint Subtree.
  5. You will also be asked to confirm deleting the checkpoint and its subtrees - proceed with Delete to confirm.

Using PowerShell

Execute the following PowerShell command: Remove-VMCheckpoint -VMName <virtual machine="" name=""> -Name <checkpoint name="">
