Resolving SGEM0001: Unable to Fetch Mailbox Details Error

SGEM0001 : Unable to fetch mailbox details.

KB ID: 114
Cause:
Insufficient permissions are assigned to the user account running the BDRSuite service.
Solution:
If you encounter an error accessing the "Add Exchange Mailbox Backup" page in the BDRSuite web console, follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
  1. Create a new user with adequate rights through Active Directory Users and Computers.
  2. Assign "Full Mailbox Access" permission to the new user.
  3. Use the new account with full mailbox rights as the BDRSuite service's logon account. Restart the BDRSuite service. Specify the display name of this account (and global catalog server name for Windows Server 2008 machines) in the configuration page accessed by clicking the link at the bottom of the tree view section. Check if mailboxes are successfully listed.
  4. Add the 'MSPST MS' service by modifying the MAPISVC.INF file. (Note: The above three steps should resolve the issue in listing the Mailbox users on the "Add Exchange Mailbox Backup" page. However, 'MSPST MS' service should be added in the MAPISVC.INF file to successfully back up Exchange users' mailboxes).
  5. Ensure the following on the profile configuration page.
  1. The Profile mailbox name should be specified as the display name of the created user.
  2. For Exchange server 2007, 2010, 2013, the server name should be a global catalogue server name.
  3. Check the "Connect public folder also" option only if the exchange server has a public folder database.
  1. For Exchange Server 2013 environments, follow these additional steps:
  1.  Configure the GUID of the Exchange 2013 server name. Execute the command "Get-Mailbox <backupuser> | fl ExchangeGUID."
  1. Configure the FQDN name. Execute the command "Get-OutlookAnywhere | fl host."
  2. Ensure the authentication type is NTLM. Verify with the command "Get-OutlookAnywhere | fl AuthenticationMethod."
  1. Copy the .dll files from C:\Program Files(x86)\ExchangeMapi to C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SYSWOW64.
  2. Copy the mapisvc.inf file from C:\Windows\SYSWOW64 to C:\Windows\System32.
