Fixing Application AppAware Process Error: Resolving Credentials Missing Issue for Configured VMs

Application AppAware Process Error: Credentials Missing for Configured VM

KB ID: 105060
Cause:
The "Failed to perform application appaware process. No credentials set for the appaware option configured VM" error arises when a Backup or Replication job is set up with the Application Aware feature enabled, but the credentials required for the guest VM configuration have not been saved.
Solution:
To address this issue, follow these steps:
1. Save Credentials During Configuration:
When configuring the Backup or Replication job, ensure that you save the necessary credentials for the guest VM within the Application Aware option.
2. Edit and Reschedule Backup Job:
If credentials were missed during the schedule configuration:
  1. Access the "List job" page.
  2. Locate the relevant job and click the "EDIT" option.
  3. Save the credentials for the guest VM within the Application Aware option.
  4. Reschedule the backup job.
By carefully saving the credentials for the guest VM during job configuration, you can prevent the "Failed to perform application appaware process" error and ensure the successful execution of the Application Aware feature within BDRSuite.
