This issue will occur normally due to the following reasons:

  1. When VembuCBT driver is not installed.
  2. Running with an older version.
  3. Bitmap file getting corrupted or deleted manually.
  4. Blocked by an antivirus application.

To check the Driver Installation open command prompt as administrator and type “fltmc” and make sure VembuCBT driver is present. If not, please follow the below steps

  1. Open Command prompt with 'Run as Administrator' privilege.

  2. Go to the Vembu Integration Service installation location and reinstall the VembuCBT driver using the following commands,

    • VembuInstallationlocation\Drivers\HyperV>HyperVDriverUtil.exe -uninstall
    • VembuInstallationlocation\Drivers\HyperV>HyperVDriverUtil.exe -install
  3. After executing the above commands, type ‘fltmc’ and click ‘Enter’.It would list all the drivers and make sure VembuCBT is installed.

    • VembuInstallationlocation>\Drivers\HyperV>fltmc
  4. Since the VembuCBT driver is reinstalled, it's mandatory to run an additional full backup for all the backup jobs configured from that particular host.
