Cause
1) If a backup job hasn't scheduled on the expected schedule time from the client machine.
2) If a backup is suspended at client’s side.
3) If a backup is deleted at the client’s side but backups still running in the backup server.
Solution
By default, if a backup job hasn't scheduled on the expected schedule time from the client machine, the backup server waits for a grace period of 1 hour and if the backup still doesn't get schedule, then the backup server reports the backup schedule as 'missed'. Kindly try the below things to avoid the missed schedule report.
1) Under the list of backup job, across the particular backup click on 'Edit' button to verify the backup schedule and save the backup job.
2) Manually schedule the backup job from the client webconsole and check whether the missed schedule report is getting updated to success or not.
3) If the backup is deleted at the client and you don't want them for restoring the data, then you can proceed to delete the same at the server side.
4) Suppose if the backup job is suspended in client webconsole, resume the job and manually schedule the backup job from the client console.
5) If the backup job has been deleted from the client and if the user dosen't want the backup job for any restoration purpose, then try deleting the backup schedule from the backup server to get rid of the missed backup report.
