The VMware backup that we configured in our data center fails with the error message failed to create snapshot and we are not able to find the exact case why the backup is failing. Please help us resolve this issue. Any ideas to find the root cause ?

2015-08-25 11:20:07 -0500 asked a question Hyper-v integration service upgrade error during VMware backup

I am currently trying to backup a Windows 2012 server Guest VM using VembuBDR client instance. When creating the backup, I select ""Application Aware Options"" as this VM is running Microsoft SQL server. The backup job says "To perform the application-aware processing, the Guest Machine should be installed with latest Hyper-V integration services."

When I try to update the integration services on the VM it says "This computer is already running the current version of integration services (version 6.2.9200.16433)"

What am I doing wrong?"

2015-08-13 09:54:17 -0500 commented question Boot VM from NFS Share

@deperez Can you manually restart NFS service in your backup server machine and try mounting it on Xen. Sometime, enabling the NFS service from Vembu console is not working in our data center
