Hi, Not to hijack the thread but I see that writing to event logs is not in the above list!? I was told not too long ago that it was meant to be included in the next major release, what is the expected ETA on this? Regards Michael Wilken

Hi,

Is there any way to get the status of a backup job written to the event log in windows?

Thanks

Hi, I determined that it is the order in which the iSCSI initiator brings up the disks following a server reboot. The disks do not have the same logical disk number as when the backup was configured (i.e. - D drive was originally disk 1, E drive was originally disk 2, etc... and after restart E drive is mounted first as disk 1 then D drive is mounted as disk 2). Upon my next restart I am going to investigate further and if need be bring the disks up in the correct order via the iSCSI initiator.

Hi,

I am running an image based backup of physical tin. The server in question connects to iSCSI storage for the logical drives. I need to backup all of these as I replicate between datacentre's for DR.

My problem is that every so often the backup starts failing and reports disk configuration has changed and viewing the backup after this shows that one or more drives is missing in the backup selections. I am not able to run this backup anymore and currently the only fix is to delete and re-create, not optimum in any situation.

If I could modify the selection list, I would be able (in theory) to reselect the missing drive at which point I could run a full backup and continue as normal - the problem is that I cannot find a way to make selections editable after a backup has run. Is there a way to do this, is it even possible?

Thank you in advance.
