Thanks for your prompt reply. It is possible that the machines hardware is at fault. We will be migrating the VM's to other servers over the next month. From there we will have another server ready for testing so we'll try again later.

We have a trail version of VMBackup.

Our first backup of a Virtual Machine went well, able to be booted on the server etc.

However the subsequent incremental backup caused the ESXi 5.5 machine to crash requiring a restart.

We uninstalled the client and deleted it from the server to start afresh but it continues to happen.

Currently we are backing up the VM using Veeam so I do not have the details of the crash screen available.

However if you have any advice or have come across this issue before could you let us know before we test again.

We've just downloaded and installed Vembu-BDR. We installed the client on to a Windows 7 laptop. We ran a disk image backup which seemed to run successfully, both client and server confirmed that backup had succeeded. However no backups are showing under the client list on the server.
