2017-06-05 02:30:34 -0500 answered a question How to configure Daily Full Backup in Vembu

Hi Vaibhav,

You can go ahead and configure the backup job with run daily incremental and also in the next page you can configure additional full backup to run daily. The time set to run additional full backup should be 5 mins prior to the incremental backup configuration. By configuring this way full backup will run first and once it completes incremental backup will run but there will not be any changes backed up.

Example : Set 9:05 AM for incremental configuration and 9 AM for additional full backup.

From the error message provided, we suspect that the ODBC driver is not properly removed\configured. Hence please navigate to C:\windows\system32 and C:\windows\syswow64 and test the connection in the odbcad32 file. Please make sure the database name and other configuration are same as that of configured in SGConfiguration.conf file in the BDR installation location C:\programfiles\vembu\VembuBDR\conf. If the connection fails then we need to remove the ODBC through the registry and re-install it. If you require assistance in uninstalling and re-installing please do contact our support through
