I am trying to recover my single VM from my primary physical server (Serv1) to a second physical server (Serv2).

Each server has a host OS of Hyper V Server 2016 Core. I have Vembu installed on the host OS. My backups are going to an external USB.

I am simulating where Serv1 has catastrophically failed, which means Vembu is also lost.

I would like to restore the VM on to Serv2, using only the backup disk. I have tried installing Vembu on Serv2, but I see nowhere to point it to the existing backup. The Recovery list is empty. What is expected in this situation?
