Main backup share is corrupted

Hi, my main backup share has become corrupted, and had to be formatted. I have recreated the initial folder shares etc., but I am getting an error message "Backup Request Failed for Backup [Backup1] To Server [backup2008] with Error :: Backup storage location does not exists in the backup server. "

I cannot delete or edit the backup location in the BDR server, what can I do?

By default Vembu BDR backup server will not accept the backup job when the backed up data not available in the backup storage location and also, it is not possible to remove the selected storage drives from Vembu BDR user interface.

In order to re-run the backup jobs again after these types of disaster from the Vembu BDR Client, first delete the backup jobs which have been stored in those drives.

You can delete the backups job by login to the Vembu BDR backup server user interface. Once logged in to the backup server, goto "Management -> List of Clients -> Click 'View Backup Jobs' icon (+ icon) -> click 'Delete' icon" of the backup job.

Once all the backup jobs are deleted form the Vembu BDR backup server, please contact our support team at vembu-support@vembu.com to remove the corrupted drive entry from storage repository page.
