How to update IP Binding?

Hi There,

I am testing your product that I found that after installing BDR server, it is not listening to on the IP Address but only listen to 'localhost' loopback address. I tried netstat -a - due to this we are not able to connect client to the server also not able to access the webconsole from network.

Going thorough the config file did not help much! Let me know if you someone can assist us with this.

Hi,

To enable IP Binding in the VembuBDR server, please follow the below steps

(i) Go to the VembuBDR installation location, By default it would be C:/Program files/Vembu/VembuBDR.

(ii) Then open the SGConfiguration.conf file under the conf folder. Now search for the tag <ipaddress="">. Add the IP Address here which you need to bind.

(iii) Now restart the VembuBDR service and verify whether the backup port get listen in the binded IP.

Hi, Thank you for reaching our Vembu Community. Please share the issue details along with the type of IP address (IPv4 or IPv6) and error details in case of any, if you still facing the issue even after following the mentioned steps to update the IP details in the Vembu BDR Configuration file.
