I have a few Vembu system in place and s far its been a good change from the old system I was using. I do have one odd issue though. I have deleted a job that was pointing to a test server, created a new job to the production server and that went fine. However on my daily emails Im getting that the old deleted job is failing? Well it should its been deleted.. :) How can I get that old job/server info cleaned up?

This is occurring on two systems currently.

Thanks!

Hi,

From the post, we could not find out the exact error message you have received in the email report.

If you have received 'Missed Schedule Email Alert', then possibly the backup has not been deleted from the test server (due to server unavailability or any other reason) and you could receive the missed backup alert from that server. If this is the case, please login to your test backup server console and delete the particular job to avoid failure reports.

If this is not the case, please provide the exact error message that you received for the deleted job in the email report. It would help us to provide the exact solution.

Going to the server and looking up Client information I only see the one Client Name, when looking a the Recovery I see both the old and new backup jobs.

Ahhh, I just delete the Job Name from the Recover and it noted that the schedule has been deleted... is that it? User error? :)

Hope you have pointed and deleted the inactive job from the test server's Recovery page now. As informed earlier, backup job might not be deleted from the test server due to server unavailability or some other reason during the deletion of backup job from the client.
