pre or post backup script

Is it possible with any of the products to launch pre or post backup script? If not, is there a plan to implement it?

Hi, Not to hijack the thread but I see that writing to event logs is not in the above list!? I was told not too long ago that it was meant to be included in the next major release, what is the expected ETA on this? Regards Michael Wilken

Once its done, this Pre/Post backup command and writing the error to event logs feature will be available in the next immediate update which can be installed on top of 3.8 installation. Also, based on the current progress, we expect it to be available with our product at the end of third quarter this year.
