Error while getting/Inserting client token::Error in inserting client uuid into DB

I have followed the steps from that question and still can't initiate a backup. I'm backing up to a Vembu BDR server running on Ubuntu from a Windows server 2012 using the Hyper-V plugin. I had set up the client initially with the ID "HVHOST" and after a reinstall of my server I tried to set up the client again. I first deleted the backup from the BDR server and allowed some time for the client to disappear from the client list, then I set up my client. I got the error saying Client ID already exists so tried "HVHOST1" which took me a step further but failed with "Error while getting/Inserting client token::Error in inserting client uuid into DB" Is there a way to completely remove the Client ID from the server so that I can re-use the same client ID?

I have tried creating a completely differently VMBackup ID and backup name but still no luck.

Thank you for the quick reply :-) I have previously tried to uninstall the client and deleted the client configuration files and that does allow me to change the client ID back to original. However I still get "VMBackup ID exists" Also, I don't seem to have the "Server Management" option. My user is admin and does have full permissions. I'm not allowed to upload pictures but in my screenshot you can see the option is not there. :-(

We believe that you are looking 'Server Management' option in VMBackup Client console and please be informed that the particular option is available only in Vembu BDR Backup Server console. As we mentioned in our earlier post, please remove the client entries from backup server console and try to register VMBackup client with same client id again . If still issue persists, please send us the following details to vembu-support AT vembu.com email id to provides you solution at the earliest. 1. Screen shot of exact error message from VMBackup Client. 2. Screen shot of 'Management ->Server Management ->Client Management' page from Backup Server.

Thank you I will email them. I am definitely looking at server console as I can list all of the multiple clients I have backing up to that box.
