Why do I have to select all drives in image backup

I'm testing image backup and trying to create server backup of only one of the drives.
I have 2 drives, second one stores old backups and I don't want to back it up. When I select only drive c (system, mail partition) it gives me warning: It is highly recommended to include boot partition (System Reserved) in the backup to make the backed up image bootable on restore. I can't proceed with only c drive selected. There is no system reserved partition on any of the drives, drive C is a boot drive. Aditionally I can't backup only second drive. it's very frustrating.

Hi,

Normally the particular alert will be thrown while configuring disk image backup to make sure that the bootable partitions(OS Volume and System Reserved) has been configured together for baremetal recovery. To provides you better solution,

Please provide us the following details from your end.

Version of Windows OS
Whether System Reserved partition is available in different disk

It's windows hyper-v server 2016, but I had the same with windows 10. the problem is that, it's not just allert, it's forcing me to select that drive. There is no system reserve partition on any hdd in that hyper-v server.
