Change backup selections after initial backup - Image based backup
Hi,
I am running an image based backup of physical tin. The server in question connects to iSCSI storage for the logical drives. I need to backup all of these as I replicate between datacentre's for DR.
My problem is that every so often the backup starts failing and reports disk configuration has changed and viewing the backup after this shows that one or more drives is missing in the backup selections. I am not able to run this backup anymore and currently the only fix is to delete and re-create, not optimum in any situation.
If I could modify the selection list, I would be able (in theory) to reselect the missing drive at which point I could run a full backup and continue as normal - the problem is that I cannot find a way to make selections editable after a backup has run. Is there a way to do this, is it even possible?
