I applied an unused license to this client on your portal but still getting The Server rejected this client's Backup Request. This is from the backup log: Error :: Backup request failed with the error message 'Not enough license units'. please advise... client is: D320T045

Hi Gowerg,

Once the license has been applied in portal. We should run the license check from VembuBDR backup server. It will fetch the license information from the portal and it will update the status in VembuBDR backup server. Then the backups will run properly if it is having the proper licenses applied in portal.

To run license check navigate in the VembuBDR server console to the below mentioned page and click on "Run License Check"

VembuBDR 3.5.0

Management -> Server Management -> Server Registration

VembuBDR 3.x[Prior to 3.5]

Management -> Server Registration

Note:Normally the backup server will pull the license information from the Portal once per day or VembuBDR backup server start-up time.
