I am trying several different backup software packages and was wondering if your software supports using usb drives in a rotation. Currently I use a backup strategy of backing up to a local repository and then once that is completed I also backup to a usb drive that gets replaced weekly and stored in a safe until we use it again. On these drives we only need a week or 2 worth of backups.

USB disk rotation is already in our roadmap and it will be available in our future release.
Meanwhile, you may configure additional full backup and move the older full backup to another USB disk to achieve your requirement.
NOTE: This workaround will work only when you have only one disk or volume added for storage repository. If you have multiple disks added in the storage repository, do not try this.
Follow below steps to achieve this,
1.While configuring backup job, on the 3rd page, click 'Additional Full Backup' option.
2.Enable the configuration and set the scheduling as per the disk rotate policy.
3.After completing the second full backup, goto storage location and you can see two full backup time stamps. You can move the first full backup time stamp to another USB disk and it can be used later for disaster recovery.
Anyone know if there has been an update to doing this?
This feature has been given low priority. So, it is not yet included into Vembu BDR Suite. Based on the demand, this feature may be reprioritized.
This is something we need as we have customers that just dont have enough bandwidth for offsite backups using the offsite DR vembu offers.
This is something we also need for saving offline & offsite DR backup copies.

Based on the last entry by nivas, this was scheduled to be ready Q1 2019, can you give me an update since we are now in Q2 2019?
Our engineers are already started working on the disk rotations feature. It is getting delayed because of the development of other critical features. However, you can expect this feature in the upcoming releases of Vembu BDR Suite.
Will this feature, when released, require an enterprise license like the tape drive feature?
The basic functionalities of disk rotation will be available in all the editions of Vembu BDR Suite. However, more details on this will be updated later in this thread once the feature is released.
