SG0147/SG0136: Unable to connect to the Backup Server
My backup jobs fails with the error message "SG0147/SG0136: Unable to connect to the Backup Server". I checked ping to the VembuBDR server from my client machine and it ends up with success message and also I am able to access the VembuBDR server UI in my client machine. What might be the cause of this issue ? Other clients backups are connecting with out any issues to the backup server. I need this client to be backed up to the VembuBDR backup server with in this weekend. Kindly help me on this.
Did you tried logged in the server console and checked whether the backup server is running ? Since The UI will load though the server executable is not running and it can be verified by login the server console.

smith_01 ( 2015-06-25 13:55:38 -0500 )edit@kristen. I am able to login the server console with out any issue. @smith_01 As mentioned in the question the backups from other clients or connecting the server with out any issues and it doesn't seems to be server level firewall issue
