Suddenly receiving email notifications for the free version of our Vembu backup server: "[Alert]-Vembu Portal Unlicensed VM.Backups Interrupted" "The following Virtual Machine(s) , are not assigned with a valid license. The backups associated with the VM(s) have failed. "

However, backup and restore jobs continue to function without issue. Again, this is for the Vembu BDR Suite Free Edition.

To assist you further, kindly add the following details in a zipped folder and mail it to vembu-support@vembu.com, keeping "regarding the forum query" as the mail's subject line.:

1) The BDR Backup Server logs. You can find the log folder at the "< installation_path >\Vembu\VembuBDR\log" location.

For Example: "C:\Program Files\Vembu\VembuBDR\log"

2) Screenshot of the email notification you recieved.
