Vembu BDR Server Failed to upgrade from 4.2 to 5.0

Hi,

When I try upgrading ver 4.2 to 5.0, it shows "Failed to upgrade Vembu BDR Server, there is a problem while connecting to the database" and asks to check KB article 115101.

According to the KB article, I have checked that the VembuPostgreSQL service is running. And the password in SGConfiguration.conf is encoded. But it is still not working.

Would you please advise how to fix this problem?

I have contacted the support. It is recommended to wait for the patch at the end of the month.

Recently, a patch was released, kindly download the most recent version of BDRSuite to upgrade your backup server.

If the problem persists, please send the BDR Server installation log to vembu-support@vembu.com. The installation log can be found at the location where you downloaded and started the BDR Server installation.
