BACKUP FAILURE DUE TO: Appaware process is not supported for windows9_64Guest

I randomly ran into an issue with being able to backup one VM that keep failing the backup due to application awareness issues. This was working in the past

I have even tried deleting the backup and recreating the backup and cannot seem to get the backup to successfully run with application awareness. I also tried deleting the existing appaware folders to see if the system would recreate them and that did nothing. What should I do?

From the error message "Appaware process is not supported for windows9_64Guest", it seems you have configured backup for one of your Windows 10 guest VMs with application-aware processing enabled.

If possible, could you please let us know the application that you are running inside your guest VM?

The only application that is running is UPS and at one point the backups worked as they should.

To analyze this issue further, send the log folder of Vembu BDR Server as a ZIP file to vembu-support@vembu.com. One of our support engineers will analyze the logs and get back to you shortly.

You can find the log folder of Vembu BDR Backup Server at < installation Location >\vembu\vembuBDR\log

For Example: C:\program files\vembu\vembuBDR\log

Use Vembu Community: Error 102032: Missed Backup Schedule(Question 2196) as your email subject when mailing the logs to us.
