Hello, This is a brand new BDR appliance, and after configuring everything I can't seem to be able to backup any VMs from my Vcenter, each time I get the above message. Can you help?

This error occurs if VMs configured for backup is enabled with Guest Processing (App-aware & File Exclusion).
For guest processing enabled backups, the Vembu BDR backup server pushes an app-aware-guest-tool into the guest VM to ensure application consistency. To do the remote installation to guest VM, the given user account of the guest VM needs to have administrative privileges. When the provided user account doesn’t have enough permissions in the Guest VM, then the backup fails.
We recommend you to check the credentials provided for the guest VMs are correct and have the administrator privileges.
