Good day,
Am running BDR Suite (Free) I have an job that seems to be stuck as 'active' and am unable to stop it.
If I click on abort and then yes, it says the job has been aborted, but when the page refreshes, the job is still there and running. I have rebooted the client machine from which the job is running as well as the BDR server but it still perisists.
Please can someone help?

From the above-given details, we believe the database update is in progress for the specific backup schedule. Even if you restart the BDR Server, the unprocessed metadata will first be updated into the database and meanwhile, the backup status will be shown as Active. This DB updation process will take few minutes to complete. Depending on the size of the data, the time may vary.
If the backup status is active for more than the expected time, then to analyze the case further, send the following details in an e-mail to vembu-support@vembu.com, keeping "regarding the forum query" as the mail's subject line:
1) The screenshot of the console while aborting the backup-process.
2)The Vembu BDR Server logs in a zipped folder - You can find the log folder at the "< installation_path >\Vembu\VembuBDR\" location.
For Example C:\Program Files\Vembu\VembuBDR.
