Hi I am new to Vembu.. As a test I configured Vemdu BDR (Free Version) for my Vsphere ESXi and seems working fine.. As noticed the default config is every 24 hrs will check the license synchronization.. Is the sync is compulsory?.. Or what if the server not connected to internet ?..If the server is not connected to internet will affect the backup/restore tasks?...awaiting your valuable info.. thanks in advnace

The Vembu BDR backup server validates the license information with Vembu Portal periodically at every 24 hrs and this license check is mandatory for both free and paid version users.
The communication between the BDR backup server and the Vembu Portal happens securely through HTTPS for validating the license information.
If the server is not connected to the portal for more than 7 days, the BDR backup server gets deactivated automatically, and there will be no further backups happening for previously configured backup jobs.
