From the machine that Vembu-VMBackup is installed, I can telnet to local exchange server and successfully sent an email with no authentication.
Putting the same settings in Vembu email notification and the message is SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP Host.
Tried adding Auth with no luck.
Checked netstat and can't see Vembu server opening a connection, the firewall is disabled.
Any suggestions appreciated.
We have noticed this issue in Vembu BDR v4.0 and one of our support engineers will send you the steps to your registered email ID to fix the error in email configuration. This fix is already integrated into our development build and will be available in the upcoming release of Vembu BDR Suite.
I have the same issue when upgrade the version 4.0, any fix available?
