Since updating from Vembu 3.9.1 to Vembu 4.0, I receive a few notification emails (relating to different servers) regarding "missed backup schedule". However, the servers then all do backup and the job completes successfully etc.
Any ideas on what I can try to resolve this?
You will get the missed backup alerts for any one of the following reasons:
1) If the backup job is not initiated at the next scheduled time on the Vembu BDR Server or Vembu Client.
2) If the backup job is suspended at the client side.
3) If the backup job is deleted from the client side but the backup data is still available on the Vembu BDR Server for recovery purpose.
When a backup job is reported as "Missed", it is just an intimation to the Server that the backup has not started at the scheduled time. It is not an issue and won't affect the backup job until the jobs are continuously being missed for a longer period of time.
