NO New Or Modified File For Backup

Hello Sir I Am Using Store Grid 4.0

I Have Created Two Task For Backup and Now One IS Working But Anethore One Is Getting Error No New Or Modified File For Backup But There IS Many Files Update Every Day.

In rare scenario, Windows ADM(Automatic Directory Monitoring) service unable to identify the modifications during the incremental schedules. In order to resolve this issue, you can disabled Windows ADM and enabled Vembu monitoring service to identify the modification during each incremental schedule and the newly added or modified files will be successfully backed up.

Follow below steps to enable the StoreGrid monitoring service,

Login to StoreGrid user interface
Edit the backup job
Click 'Advanced Options'
Disable "Automatic Directory Monitoring" and save the configuration
Then goto Vembu StoreGrid installation location "C:\Program Files\Vembu\StoreGrid\conf" and open "SGConfiguration.conf" file
Search for " SGDeleteNotification Enabled" and set the value to "1"

For example,

SGDeleteNotification Enabled="1"

Save the file and restart StoreGrid service. Then check the incremental backup progress by schedule it.

I believe SGDeleteNotification tag was not added in v4.4.0. Better you can upgrade your setup to v4.4.2 and try the same. You can contact our support team at vembu-support@vembu.com to get help on this issue further.
