The reported error would occur if the configured storage repository is not available at the time of backup or the VembuBDR service does not have enough permission to access the storage repository.
To resolve this, log on VembuBDR service with the user account having the administrative privileges. Follow the below steps to change the log on account of VembuBDR service.
Open the windows services by running the services.msc command on the computer where you have installed the Vembu BDR server.
Select the VembuBDR service and then open its Properties.
In the VembuBDR services properties window, go to the "Log On" tab and log in with the user which has enough permissions to access the storage repository.
Click on OK and Restart the VembuBDR service.
After restarting the service, Vembu BDR Server will be able to access the storage repository and the backups will run as scheduled.
If it is a remote storage medium, go to Storage Pool Management > Manage Network Drive, provide the drive path of your remote storage medium. Along with the drive path, we also recommend you to provide the username and password of the remote storage medium(if applicable).
