It seems you had installed Vembu BDR server on NAS drive and that drive was crashed. It is usually not recommended to install Vembu BDR server on a network drive.
However, if you still have the backup data, you can rebuild the Vembu BDR Server and then you can restore the backup data. Refer the following KB article to rebuild the Vembu BDR backup server.
KB ID: 115063 - Rebuilding Vembu BDR v3.7 and above (Server Running PostgreSQL)
Note: Always install Vembu BDR Server on the local disk.
In case, if you need any assistance while rebuilding the backup server, contact our support at vembu-support@vembu.com
I have installed VembuBDR server on server 2012 R2 and its database "sgstorage" is on a NAS drive. NAS drives are ok but my server 2012 R2 got crashed with two HDD failure. I have backup of "Conf" folder only. Plugin-Data backup I dont have.
In that case, you can skip Plugin-Data and continue rebuilding the Vembu BDR Server. Once the Vembu BDR server got successfully rebuilt, you can start restoring the backup data.
Note: Since you don't have Plugin-Data, your older backups job will not be continue as scheduled. You need to configure the new backup jobs once the server got rebuilt, but you can still use the older backup data for restoration purposes.
I am having issue while rebuilding the Vembu BDR:
I am getting failure message while rebuilding the VembuBDR 3.7 server as per the post in Vembu Community.
