install fails [closed]
I set up an new virtual server2008r2. When i start the installion with or without administrator privileges i get a failure: "failed to install ...due to missing dependencies ... question/115067" what do i have to do??

You will get this alert message when you try to install Vembu BDR/OffsiteDR Server on Windows 2008 R2 machine which lacks Windows6.1-KB3033929 patch.
Download and install Windows6.1-KB3033929 patch on your Windows 2008 R2 machine and try installing Vembu BDR/OffsiteDR Server again.
If the Windows6.1-KB3033929 patch is already installed on your machine, you can skip this error message and continue installing Vembu BDR/OffsiteDR server using following steps:
Open the command prompt with administrator privilege and navigate to Vembu BDR/OffsiteDR installer location.
Execute the following command based on installation type:
For Vembu BDR: VembuBDRSetup.exe /KB_SKIP="1"
For Vembu OffsiteDR: VembuOffsiteDRSetup.exe /KB_SKIP="1"
Note: After installation, you will be prompted to reboot the Windows 2008 R2 machine. Reboot the machine at your convenient time and start using Vembu BDR/OffsiteDR Server.
