Vembu supports VMware Replication (VM Power Replication) across ESXi hosts from Vembu BDR v3.0 onward. The redundant copy of the selected business critical VMs will be stored in the target ESXi host. Vembu BDR uses vStorage APIs to replicate VMs across ESXi hosts. During the replication process, the base image will be transferred to the target host and then changes alone will be transferred to the target hosts during incremental schedules. When disaster occurs, you can power on the replicated VM on the target host. Vembu BDR supports maximum 7 restore points for the VMware Replication process.
