Why would the PostgreSQL continue to grow when the backup location is on a different drive?
with other backup solution we don't encounter the same issue. it doesn't grow as much as Vembu's database does
Surely there must be a setting or an option we can disable or modify to prevent the PostgreSQL db from accumulating
The data of PostgreSQL grows as the size of backup data grows and it is approximately 1.8% of the total size of the backup data in the backup storage repository.
If the size of the PostgreSQL database is growing much, you can a migrate it to a different storage location. Refer the KB article to change the PostgreSQL's data storage location
