Hi we changed from Veeam to Vembu. Saving on a local Server no problem. We used till now Hubic for Cloud storage. In the Hubic Tool it asks for the Files to be sync with it. It is not clear to me which files to select as Folder structure vembu is not yet clear to me. If I choose all files of sgstorage folder I get the message that som folders can not be accessed. Any advice how to proceed?

All the Backup data of Vembu BDR server are stored under the folder sgstorage and these are in Vembu’s own file formats. If you are planning to have a copy of backup data in any cloud storage, we recommend you to copy the entire sgstorage folder. Only if you have copied the entire folder, it can be helpful in rebuilding the backup server.
We don’t have any restriction in copying the files from the sgstorage folder. Since the files are compressed and encrypted, some applications might not able to copy the files and folders.
If you are taking an Image-based backup (VMware, Hyper-V, and Windows server backup), We recommend you to mount the backup data on Vembu Virtual Drive and copy the mounted data form Vembu Virtual Drive(VHD, VHDX, VMDK, and IMG) to any cloud storage. So you can sync the bootable image data to cloud storage. It would help you to reduce the downtime.
Further to Nivas's update, we have found that few temp files(.wrk and *.lst) have been skipped while copying the entire 'sgstorage' folder. These are all temp files and it will be removed once the transaction gets completed. So, while copying the data, these files might be reported as unavailable or inaccessible. You can ignore this and this will not cause any issue.
