I am backing up the file server using file backup plugin and noticed that some of files and folders were getting skipped from the backup schedule. Though the files and directory comes under selected tree list. Is that any specific file type that VembuBDR will skip by default or this is some sort of issue that needed to be addressed from our end.
Normally this issue will occur in case If the file/folder doesn't have enough permission for the VembuBDR user.
(i) Check if VembuBDR logon user has ‘Read’ and 'List Folder Contents' access permissions for the skipped folder by going to 'Folder Properties -> Security' dialog.
(ii) If VembuBDR logon user doesn't have permission, enable the required permissions.
(iii) Reschedule the backup and check.
