Vembu BDR supports 7 restore points of the VMs which replicated to another ESXi host by using Vembu VM Power Replication. After 7th version, initial version will be merged with the base image.

Hello, can I keep less then 7 versions in the replication? In my side even that I'm setting it to keep 3 versions is keeping 7 version by default Thanks

To analyze this issue further, kindly send the screenshot of the particular VM replication job’s retention configuration page and the log folder of the Vembu BDR Backup Server as a Zip file to vembu-support@vembu.com. One of our support engineers will analyze the logs and get back to you shortly.

You can find the log folder of BDR Server at < installation Location >\vembu\vembuBDR\log

For Example: C:\program files\vembu\vembuBDR\log
