The VembuBDR client backup job failed with the error code SG0132 and the failure occurs frequently and is that I can do any changes that can fix this issue. This issue needed to be fixed as early as possible as we don't have success data send to server for more than a week.
This error message might occur due to several environmental issues like when VembuBDR client exits or its connection is closed when the backup is in progress. Please check the Client side historical backup report from
reports -> Backup reports--> Click the backup name to view historical backup report
(a) 'VembuBDR stopped during backup' – This error indicates that either the VembuBDR process was stopped during backup or the VembuBDR Client machine was shutdown/restarted while the backup was in progress.
(b) 'Unable to send backup details...' - This error indicates that the socket connection was closed prematurely. Check the timeout settings in the server side NAT/Firewall settings. Sometimes an existing socket connection is closed when the socket remains idle for a specified time period.
This invalid remote socket issue will also occur in case when the socket connection to the backup server from the client is disconnected for reason. When the connection between the client and the backup server is lost, the VembuBDR client will automatically try to re-establish the connection and proceed with the backup from where it left off.
However, if the client is not able to reestablish the connection after several attempts, then this error message is thrown.. In such a scenario, check the elements (NAT/firewall/Router) in the network and see if they are closing the connection for some reason."
