Hi Jimmy,

This error message will be thrown when the connection between Vembu BDR Backup server and ESXi host or vCenter Server is not established properly. To check the connectivity, you can run following telnet command from Vembu BDR Backup Server by opening command line console,

telnet IP Address/host name 902

If you changed default port configuration of ESXi host or vCenter server, please enter the correct port number.

If telnet failed, please open the port number in both ESXi host and BDR backup server machine to resolve this issue.
