Hi,

You can get the exact reason for the failure in the remarks column under the backup report. Below are the some of the common scenarios where you could get the above error.

  1. Not enough license units - Normally this error occurs if respective backup license is not purchased. you can buy the license from the customer portal account via https://portal.vembu.com to to reactivate the backups.

  2. The Backup seems to be virtually mounted - This error occurs if the backup is mounted in the backup server. Un mounting the backup in the server web console will resolve this issue.

  3. Lower version client is not supported. - This error occurs if the client version is higher than the server version.
