We currently support CBT on Hyper-V VMs residing on local drives and CSVs. We are working on complete support for supporting snapshots and CBT on VMs residing in SMB3 shares (Both Windows and Linux). We will have this available in our next release Vembu BDR v3.5 expected by end of September 2015.
