One other issue we found during the BDR server rebuild test is the server will run into license issue after rebuild from the DB dump. It will complain the duplicate BDR ID since the dead server has the same BDR ID. In that case, all the backup job will failed due to license issue. Is there a way to fix this problem without get a hold with the support?
Another thing is if Vembu can make the future backup data feature to be able to reused with the new backup job. For example, when the BDR server die, we rebuilt the server and imported old backup data, we can recreate the new backup job and point the VM backup to the old backup data to continue the incremental backup and the offsite upload instead of start a new backup chain again. This way should minimum the needs of a new full backup and offsite seeding again.
