Normally the reported error would occur if the Vembu BDR logon user does not have enough permission to access the storage volume from its location. To resolve this issue, change the VembuBDR services logon account to any other user account that has administrative privileges. To get this done, follow the below-given steps.
Open the Services control applet through the 'Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services' shortcut or by running the "services.msc" command in the 'Start -> Run' tool.
Select the VembuBDR service i.e. (Vembu BDR Backup Server Virtual Physical Workloads) and right-click to open its Properties dialog.
In the VembuBDR services Properties dialog, go to the "Logon" tab and update the user logon to be of the admin user or a user who has enough permissions to access.
Restart the VembuBDR service.
Now, log in to the BDR Backup Server and try running the configured backups again. If the issue persists contact our Support Team by dropping a mail to vembu-support@vembu.com, and we will assist you further.
