This issue occurs if the "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll" file is missing from your computer. Download and install the Visual C++ Redistributable Package from the link below to resolve this issue.

Download: https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

If the issue persists after installing the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages, kindly start the NetworkBackup service in the command prompt, and send the output as a text file to vembu-support@vembu.com to analyze further.

Follow the below steps to get the output of the command window:

1) Open Windows Services(by executing services.msc in the run)and stop the "VembuNetworkBackup" service if it is already running. If any popup appears to start the service, click No and proceed further.

2) Open Command Prompt with administrator privileges and navigate to Vembu NetworkBackup client installation location

You can find the VembuNetworkBackup folder at < Installation location >\Vembu\VembuNetworkBackup\bin

For example, C:\Program Files\Vembu\VembuNetworkBackup\bin

3) Start VembuNetworkBackup service by executing the following command

VembuNetworkBackup.exe > sgoutput.txt

4) Try login to the Vembu Network Backup client web console

5) You can find the sgoutput.txt file created inside the bin folder.

Stop the VembuNetworkBackup Service (if it has already started), and send the sgoutput.txt file to Vembu Support. One of our support engineers will analyze the file and get back to you shortly.
