This error might occur when the BDR Backup Server is unable to access the VM disk details from the Hyper-V host while performing the backup.

To resolve this issue, we recommend upgrading your BDR Backup Server to the latest version 4.2.0(Update 1). Refer to the Software Update guide for more information.

Once the BDR Backup Server is updated, it will automatically update the Vembu Integration Service on the target Hyper-V hosts. This will take some time (maximum 2 hrs) after which you can schedule the backups again to see if the issue is resolved.

If the issue still persists, kindly send the following details to our support team at vembu-support@vembu.com :

  1. Backup Job name
  2. Log folder of VembuBDR, and VembuIntegrationService as a zip

You can find the log folder of VembuBDR in the backup server at < installation location>\Vembu\VembuBDR\log

You can find the log folder of VembuIntegrationService in the Hyper-V host at < installation location>\Vembu\VembuIntegrationService\log
