You will get the above message in the report when a backup job was completed with a warning. In your case, the backup was completed, but the application-aware processing was not performed.

From the provided log, it seems there was an error in initializing the Vembu Guest Tools to perform application-aware processing inside the guest VM configured for the backup.

To analyze this error further, we recommend you send the log folder of Vembu BDR Backup Server to our support by mailing it to vembu-support@vembu.com. Our support engineers will analyze the log and get back to you with the solution.

You can find the log folder of Vembu BDR Backup Server at < installation_location >\Vembu\VembuBDR\log.
